Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: October 31, 2026

TruckDistrictUSA is free to read. To help pay for it, some pages may contain affiliate links, and we may work with sponsors. This page explains what that means for you and how we keep it separate from our conclusions.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer or service, such as a store selling hitches, bed covers, tires or tools. If you click it and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. The commission comes from the retailer; it does not add to the price you pay. We do not see your payment details or what else you buy.

How we label it

  • Any article with affiliate links says so near the top, before the first link, and links back to this page.
  • Sponsored articles are labelled “Sponsored” and name the sponsor.
  • If a manufacturer or company gives us a product, lends us a vehicle or pays for travel, the article says so.
  • On YouTube, paid promotions in a video are disclosed in the video and marked with YouTube’s paid-promotion label.

Our independence

Commissions and sponsorships never decide what we write. We choose products and trucks to cover based on our research, we say what is weak as well as what is good, and we say plainly when we have not used a product ourselves. Affiliate partners and sponsors do not review or approve our articles before publication. Our Editorial Policy explains how we work.

We are not affiliated with any truck manufacturer or dealer.

Programs we take part in

We do not currently take part in any affiliate programs, and the site has no sponsors. When that changes, we will list each program here.

Cookies from affiliate partners

When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may place cookies on its own website to credit the sale to us. That happens on their site, under their privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy covers what happens on ours.
